The chemistry training aims at forming highly skilled and qualified engineers.
The teaching offers a great variety of subjects organized around chemistry courses mainly.
The content respects the PPN-programme pédagogique national- which is officially defined by National authorities. Second-year students can choose between two options: chemistry and chemical engineering; the latter being only taught in 4 out 19 chemistry departments all over France.
The teaching staff is made up of 20 or so academic teachers; 4 technical and 2 office staff. Part of the teaching is done by a team of visiting professionals.
The main goal of the training is to enable the IUT graduates to be immediately operational and employable.
Further full-time studies are also possible for the best graduates.
The chemistry department was created 40 years ago in 1967 with more than 2000 degrees delivered since that date .We can then assert that the training is worth it.
